Exclamation Rear axle HELP!!!!!!

2004 WJ 4x2 Laredo - Rear axle seal started leaking, so I did some internet research and found out how to pull the axle apart and what parts I needed. I got the axle seal, outer bearing and bearing retainer ring from the dealership....that bearing retainer ring isn't available locally otherwise. I got the axle apart this morning, cut the retainer ring and old bearing off, and started to reassemble everything when I noticed the new bearing retainer ring is 1/8" thinner than the original. The inner and outer dimensions are the same, and the bearing and seal are correct also. I call the dealership to confirm the part number and it appears to be correct, so I ask if they have other retainer rings in stock and they do. So I hop in the car and go to town. When I get there, they have another ring laying on the counter..same part, they didn't get the parts mixed up. When I showed them the original ring, they didn't know what to think of it. Their computer shows the wrong part number and they didn't have a clue what to do next. In the end, they were NO HELP AT ALL!!!! Now I have a DD sitting in the garage with the drivers side axle pulled out, no way to put it back together and Monday morning will be here with my 50 mile drive to work!!!!!

Has anyone run into this problem? Does anyone know the correct part number???

BTW: If it helps any, the axle code is 52099433AG, the ratio is 3.55, and another number 6969-2 that I don't know what it is.
