input needed

I am thinking of welding my spiders realzing that the cost of a locker is not in the budget anytime soon and being open for lack of better term SUCKS! I was locked front and rear before the axle swap and loved it. I thought the challenge of being open would be fun but it isnt! Heres the question. Should I weld both front and rear, just front or just rear? My thoughts are that doing just the front will allow me to unlock hubs and still street drive normal. However I dont drive it all that often but it does see more street anymore than dirt. I would really hate to wear the boggers out even sooner than need be. With all this being said I still like the idea of both being locked. What to do what to do Ill quit rambling now and listen to your input.
