ford Bronco 2

My buddy has a bronco 2 takeing the v6 out pitting in a 302 i know that trans won't work but i got a 1978 F150 parting out i was going to take the trans out of it. I am almost sure that trans will work its a 4 speed.will his transfer case work or do i need this one too?

or is there a forums for fords?
