What little info I have gotten, It has to do with clean water act. Apparently the runoff problem is hurting the fish. I so not have a problem with controlling runoff. But complete closure is typical for the tree huggers.

Here's my take on it. First the Trout are not indigenous to that area and second how would the Trout fisheries assn or what ever it's called like it if the Forrestry Service said if you're going to sue us we'll just quit stocking the streams for you. It's kind of like they're biting the hand that feeds them.

I'd say more or less the fisherman/women are just mad about the noise made by all the revving engines in what they think is "their" peaceful place to fish.

I bet acre for acre they have more fishing spots than we have wheeling spots around the Country.

Now I do believe in land preservation, but I think that is their guise here and not the real underlying issue that they have a problem with.

x2 if people would quit fighting and simply try to do what we all try to teach our kids at age 2 and just share and not be stingy and shelfish wouldnt the world be a better place
