4 Wheel Parts, anyone from Clarksville/Fort Campbell Going?

Figured we could meet up somewhere and convoy down. I am planning to be there from open to close. Post up if you want to meet somewhere and head out as a group.

I am going and I want to be sure to be there EARLY!!!! First 50 get free stuff and if you got the Coupon in the mail you get a free strap or tow shackle while supplies last. I figure I wanna get there around 8-830 they open at 9

i'll be there.. i want to get there by at least 830. i got that coupon in the mail for the free strap or tow shackle. i've spent close to 5k at 4wheel parts over the years. there not bad. it'll be nice to have one in nashville. i bought their tire trail warrenty with my bfg's and i have two that need to be traded in for new ones. will sure beat driving to memphis. but, yeah, if anyone wants to convoy down, cool with me.

I will be at 4wheel parts saturday the 14th. (its also my birthday!!!) I will be there at 8:30, to be one of the 1st ones in when they open. i will need to work for 6-8 hours later that day so i will not beable to stay long. Remember to bring the mailing ads they sent out to get a free receiver d-ring or a tow strap!!

SO lets say 645 at Waffle House off Exit 4 (the one on the left) so some of us don't have to go toward Ft Campbell to turn around and go back the other way!
If we can be out of waffle house by say 730 thats 45 minutes to eat and 45min-1 hour for travel. Sound good??

Kevin is one of the Brentwood boys. He won't be meeting us. Looks like the clarksville crew meeting at 6 at Waffle House off Exit 4 and getting to Nashville around 8ish. I don't think I will be at waffle house quite that early. The store won't open until 9 so 815-830 should be PLENTY early to get there.

well, I learned my lesson on the last "Day after Thanksgiving" sale...I showed up at 3am at Best Buy (in Georgia) that opened at 6am...I was number 1214 in that stupid line freezing my arse off!

I went ahead and bought some Staun deflators since they gave it to me early.
Looks to be a decent strap. 20,000 lbs. No hooks.

I am just saying that the coupon says "WHILE SUPPLIES LAST. VALID ONLY 4/14/07" and that means if you know 3 people, then there are most certainly more and they will probably run out and end up giving us a screwdriver or something lame, when everybody and their brother with a Z-71 will be there for a free tow strap they will never use, because they don't take them off any highway!

I.m not mad at the people getting the straps and stuff. I am just disappointed that the store would not honor their word...and if the guy wanted me in there this weekend to spend money, he could have offered to give me the strap whenever I could make it in...but they probably made some repeat customers by honoring that coupon early, so I don't really blame em there either.

Well I was at Waffle House at 6:10 and had a nice breakfast with Andrew. Got to 4 wheel around 7:15 or so and there were like 15 people there if that. By 8:30 (when they opened the Doors) there were probably 150-200 people there. I walked thru the store not much, kinda small, then went and got my strap. Rich and Danny from Clarksville were there and I ran into Kevin and Phillip. Keving got his tires balanced and bought a 2" Body lift so I followed him to his house where we installed his BL. His jeep is HUGE now and clears them 37's nicely!!!! WHile there I scored his old soft top (mine has an 18" gash in it) and a soft upper for my passenger door (mine is shredded) and took home a stock drag link as a trail spare. The day was a success and all in all worth the trip.

Like fred said today was a great success. the new 4wd shop was nice and most importanly very close to my house and near 5-6 auto stores. So now i can get just about any part my jeep will ever need in the near future off of one road..lol

Fred and i put on my 2 inch BL. It looks great!! My jeep is a pain to get into now that its even taller (i am 6 foot 5 and its a pain for me)... The BL went on smoothly thanks to fred's help. Tomorrow i am going to paint my inner rear fender wells and cut some of the fender and my clearence issues for my 37's should be talken care of.

I have to say today was one of the most fun birthdays i have had in a while. Got some parts, did some mods, and hung out with some good friends what more could i ask for?

I tell you kevin when you trim your rear fender wells and paint them black that thing is gonna look SICK!!!!! Get a few new pix and post them....that thing is a beast. A TJ with 7" total lift, cut fenders and 37's!!!!!!
