I took my softop down at lunch today. Gotta drive on base in a bit and didn't want the top or windows in the way. :)

my top was off all last week (except friday, it rained). it was 29-31 in the mornings and 65-70 in the afternoons. its 82 here right now, needless to say the jeeps naked :D

It's about 81 here, sunny with winds 10-20, clear blue green water... and no jeep :( that's alright though, I will see it again saturday and will hopefully have it driving again monday or tues after I put the Break line back in

I put my soft top back on this afternoon since there is a chance of rain. But, the drive home from school with the top off was priceless!!!


So Tom and Andy, now that you got your tops off, are you going to take the chance of getting them wet? I'm still debating to put my Bikini on. Dont like the thought of getting caught out in the rain.

If you worry about water in the Jeep, get one of those Rain Gear covers from Jeepcovers.com. They cover the entire door area when doors are off too.

I've had about 8" of water in mine (when I didn't have the safari on under it) and nothing came in. I just used a bucket I use for washing the cars to get most of the water out before trying to take the cover off.

Once I put my safari on, that is how I'll keep water out.

I have a safari top BeeBe. I will get it on there sometime this week. Other than that I could care less about it getting wet. I have full doors so that helps with the seats as well.

I'm so jealous!!! I just put my hardtop & doors back on early in Feb. to ship my TJ here from HI. It had been off for four years straight up until that time:p . I can't wait to get the bikini back on. I feel so cramped!!! A few more weeks and I'll be as cool as y'all:cool: .

carpets? whoa, I haven't seen mine in 9 years. They do make a difference with road noise though that's for sure.

too true, my feet get REALLY hot since I put the headers on. The exhaust no longer runs forwardand around the front of the engine, but runs aft and then between the engine and firewall. I don't need my heater in the winter anymore!!!
