Fishing and Camping Extravaganza

I am planning a fishing campout for late spring at my farm. Fred, Herb, and others who have fished there before can attest to the abundance of fish. We can fish all day and do a fish fry that night. At this point, let's start by accepting suggestions for dates. We will go from there. The only official responsibility designation so far is for Fred, who is the Fire Master. If you do not know what that means, just ask him, myself, or Herb...lol.

Denise, myself, perhaps Kenny and Gary could go check out the Green Coal Company area before the campout and map out some trails. If the fishing gets boring, or just to take a break, we could get a little wheeling in too. Just an idea.

As far as food goes, everyone will be on their own as far as food. I suggest sanwiches for lunch. We have a 4-burner stove in the Lodge camper, and the fire pit.

We could all go in on supper, like pork steaks, fried potatoes, beans and hopefully fish for a fish fry.

Works for me I think, I'll have to check my school calendar and make sure nothing is going on that Friday so I can skip. That way we could get down there at a good time on Friday. Maggie wants to camp so bad, it may be a little cold at night, might have to invest in a tent heater.

Just make sure you set up your tent at least 500 ft away from the fire pit (Fred can build a mean fire!!! - oh, and don't leave your plastic patio chairs sitting around. Fred knows what I mean ;) )

Don't forget to mark your calendars for this if you are interested. This will be held at my farm on March 30 - April 1st (Fri - Sun). Again, this is primarily a camping and fishing weekend. Denise, myself, Gary (Red Rubicon) and possibly Kenny and Cody are going Sat March 10th to map out some trails at the Green Coal Company property. If that exploration project proves fruitful, we could get some wheeling in too, so you may consider bringing your Jeeps. We will update you on that after next weekend.

Actually, when you think about it that sounds senseable. All the public access areas will be packed so a get together on private land sounds like a winner.

That was part of my 4th reccommendation....I know TB is usually closed due to over crowding. I have seen it in the past one vehicle out one vehicle in so they don't get over crowded and dangerous
