**Old Posts Lost in this Section**

For those who used and frequented the forums in this section, I must apologize.

Somehow in my process of re-organizing the forums to make fewer to scroll from, I managed to delete the section that housed these forums. I could not find any option in the Admin Area to restore them.

I will send a PM to Bob down in Opp, to see if he has any suggestions.

This is where I would have called our buddy Gill for help.

I have re-created the forums, and at least we can start again.

Again, I apologize.

Is there a chance that those posts still exist somewhere on the server? I'm not very computer savvy, but I know that lots of times stuff that is erased is really still there, just inaccessible by normal means.

There would only be sentimental values in the posts in "The Pub" section, but sentimental is a "biggie" to me. Thank God I copied and pasted Giller's last post before the posts got dumped!

I would sure like to see the stuff brought back, if it can be.

I am not sure. When I noticed it not there, I wasn't even removing anything, just moving stuff from place to place....I tried to be very careful about not deleting anything.

At first I thought maybe it had gotten moved and stuck underneath another set of forums...but I couldn't find it; and I couldn't find any of them in the Admin Forum area either.

I sent a PM to Bob in Opp, to see if he knows how to restore from backup. If that is possible, that would be the easiest and get all of that back. I couldn't find anything in the Admin area that talked about doing restores from backup.

Hopefully Bob will know what and how to do it.

The posts exist in a database backup. Gill had the server set up for automatic DB backups last I checked.
