Let's use this forum to discuss routine maintenance procedures or repair/replacement procedures. Seems like most Jeepers like to do their own preventive maintenance and repairs, but some of us (like me) don't have much experience at it. ( Heck, some of us don't even know which way to turn a bolt to remove it. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif ) This should be a good place to learn, if people will contribute.

Pm's are the way to go, but if you are a newbie to your vehicle, or turning a wrench, pick up a haynes manual or the factory book it will save you alot of time searching for things. If you are going to tackle wiring, go for the factory edition, it will take you front to back in detail. If your vehicle is not lifted, plan on 4 jack stands and a good hydraulic jack. after that, agood combo set of metric, and american sockets, also sizes 8-21 metric 1/4" to 7/8 should take care of most repairs. There are so many tools out there, it would take forever to list them, but getting started this assortment, plus wire strippers, screw drivers pliers, and of course a gooood hammer! will be a good way to start. Have fun, take care
