what does everyone think about this winch

Well it is much cheaper than a Warn. I just wonder how the quality is.

I have since done some reading up as the low price caught my attention. It looks to have good reviews so far as to what I have see. here is another link http://www.ruggedridgeoffroad.com/Winch%20and%20Recoverey%20Flyer.pdf they are indeed much cheaper but I have to say I had a Warn 9500HSI lock up and become basically junk from lack of use, it was a few years old but had very little use on it. So for under 300 if it lasted for the 2 year warranty then carped out think it would be worth replacing, also watched a YouTube video on it and searched on other forums with positive feed back.

I spent about the same for my smittybilt SRC 8K, and i used the **** out of it the other weekend with no issues at all. So far so good---just cant bring myself to justify the prices on ANY warn products...

I bet all the internal stuff to every brand winch is probably made in the same place anyway and each company just slaps their own logo on it.

From what I have read the rugged ridge appears to be produced by the same manufactory as smittybuilt winches.
