TJ/LJ Questions Part II

1) If you can convert CJ/YJ hood latches to the new TJ latches. Can you convert TJ latches to the CJ/YJ latches?

2) Why is it that Quadratec and 4WD Hardware (among others) sells every possible piece for an exterior of a TJ/LJ BUT full steel doors? You can get hoods, fenders, bodies, grills, hinges, and every nut and bolt from bumper to bumper... but not full steel doors!!! What does the jeep world have against these particular pieces?

I think I have seen brand new full metal doors for TJ/LJ on QuadraTec IIRC the price was such, I doubt anyone ever actually purchased a set. It would be cheaper to sell your Jeep, then purchase a Jeep that already had the full metal doors.
