I'm able to upgrade my phone at the end of the month and need some help. I'm on Verizon and the big question is which phone. After a month of research I'm sill getting nowhere. I'm definitely not getting another Blackberry, so its really between iPhone and Android. So give me the dirt. I'm leaning toward the new Bionic but I'm open to suggestion.

I want the new thunderbolt...im aware of the battery issues but the speed is great. New batteries will be out soon. I have a DROID x and its ok but not as fast as the 4G ones. I like android better than iphone basically because of customer service and the two markets. The android market is bigger and if a DROID brakes they will over night a refurbished one. Apple makes u ship ours back leaving u phoneless for days...I know a hand full of people that hated their 3gs and 4's. If a droid ever brakes twice u just do it again. It brakes within 2 weeks, u get a brand new one. I even got them to upgrade me from the DROID x to the X2. My suggestion, go android.

You will get an emotional argument all day long between Andriod and iphone users.
I think the iPhone is very user friendly. It does a lot of stuff. By far the best phone I have ever carried.

Agreed, iphone have a very user friendly interface. No easier than android in my opinion but that is may be do to the fact I have one. If music is ur thing go iphone. If not I say android...4g is way faster than 3g and as stated iphone are still 3g. Just look up the numbers to compare. I say try both see which has the features u would use and the pros and cons for each. Then pick

I would just like to get some regular cell service. ATT has been crappy about dropping calls etc, so I will have to check on a service before I go with either phone.

like Tom said the droids are nice but they break... alot.. not all of them but most do and they seem to release a new Droid or new version fairly often(claim to keep up with the technology) but i still ike the apple yes they have there flaws but out of all the phones ive ever had or tried(i have bad tendencies to swap phones alot lol) the iphone has stayed pretty consistent. basically it comes down to really what you want to be able to do with your phone.

Everyone that I know who has an Iphone says they do everything _except_ phone calls real well. Seems that the phone side of things really sucks. My Sister's Iphone is almost guaranteed to drop every call at least once.

If I were to want to download music I would look at the iphone...as it is im happy using pandora internet radio and slacker which is even better.
As for the quality, I only know one person who has not returned their iphone. And its the 3gs. I work with 3 other s with DROID X's and they have had no problems. I think all phones could be high quality.

Go Android on a HTC device. I carry one all the time working construction and have not broke it yet in a year.
