I started thie thread on another Forum and it did well so I thought I would try this topic on It's a Jeep.

I’m a huge fan of Pat Green and I’ve seen a lot of comments in other threads when I mention it, so I thought it would be some fun here.

First my Jeep has a “slightly” modified Mopar Sound system.

Mopar RB1 DVD Navigation stereo.
Replaced Factory Speakers with Polk Momos.
7” JBL Sub in the center console
660 Watt DB amp for the four corner speakers
250 Watt Sony amp for the Sub
Mopar 6 Disc changer in the add-a-trunk
Mopar Sirius Satellite radio tuner.

So as you see the tunes are relay important to me. What’s in your stereo?
Here is my play list in my disc changer:
Gretchen Wilson (Red Neck Woman)
Montgomery Gentry (My Town)
Pat Green (Wave on Wave)
Pat Green (Lucky Ones)
Pat Green (Live at Billy Bobs)
Robert Earl Keen (The Party Never Ends)

My 13-year-old daughter says my stereo makes me sound like a high tech Red Neck?

What does your the Music in your Jeep say about you?

My Jeep has 0 CD's in it.

My stereo system includes:
Alpine CDA-9827 Head Unit with XM
XM receiver (antenna under the soundbar padding)
Kicker 4 channel amp powering Kicker 6x9's in the soundbar and MBQuart 5.25 in dash
Alpine mono channel amp running Kicker 8" competition sub in Tuffy console
I also have Alpine's KCA-402i iPod interface to my iPod mini in the glovebox

With an iPod and XM, who needs CD's? :)

Mine is a Kenwood X679
Pioneer speakers
Sirius receiver

What's in my CD player right now:

Kenny Chesney - "Be As You Are" awesome CD

What's on Sirius now:

Radio Margaritaville

And I just discovered Robert Earl Keen. Love his music. Have been a big fan of Pat Green for a while. Like some of Gretchen Wilson and think Montgomery Gentry's wonderful. And I agree with Keith...nothing beats some good Hank Jr. music!

Pioneer something or other.

It's either got some Dave Mathews Band or Social Distortion in it, can't remember. I've been way to entertained by the CB lately, so can't say which.:)

I love my iPod! And I've only had it a day! I bought an iTrip as well, however, we're not getting along all that good. There's not many radio stations here that are empty, and the ones that are.... aren't clear enough for it to work properly... new headunit here I come. :(

Yeah I was using a FM modulater on my stock system and the sucked. So I got an Alpine head unit with an Alpine Ipod control module and my Ipod play thru the headunit charges and works like normal. Stays hiden cause everything works thru the headunit. I love the ipod stuff. That is the way to go. Jason

What didn't you like about the FM modulator with your stock system? Thats what I'm using with no problems.

I kept getting interference and a buzzing sound every once in awhile. Now clean crisp music. Huge difference in sound quality. You can hear it soon. Jason

I just get interference.

I had decided on a CDA-9847 as far as a headunit. Think that's good, Jason?

Ok so I'm old and probably the only one with " Poco " in the cd right now. But most of the time it is " Buffett "

Disturbed and then I made a compilation cd from my MP3's and WMA's of anything from The Cars to Accept to Pink Floyd. Breaks up the monotony.

I am almost sure that is the exact same head unit that I have. I will check when I get home on the 6th. Great sound and quality. Jason
