Hello I am new to this site, and looking for any site that has a good write up on installing a 6in long arm lift kit, on a 2000 Tj sport. I found one really good site, with great Tj how to write-ups http://www.4x4xplor.com/index.html, but they dont have the 6in lift im looking to install. I would like to get any info any of you guys might know about. Thank You . vern

Vern, welcome. I don't know if anybody here has done a 6" LA lift. But the lift concepts are the same. You would just have to look for a writeup on doing long arm installations.
4x4xplor's site is excellent.
www.stu-offroad.com (http://www.stu-offroad.com) is another excellent one.
Those are the two I use for reference 95% of the time. Some of the other Jeep forums have a HUGE audience and you may have luck there too. But don't leave us here! We love having new people here.

I have installed a Full Traction 6" LA lift. Very labor intensive. But not really that hard. You will want/need at least one other person when you do it because the main frame rail pieces and the skid is quite heavy. There were 2 of us working and then had semi-skilled hands as a 3rd. Not sure this helps you much. Let me know if you have questions.
