Okay gang, let me hear your comments, if any, on Black Diamond lift kits, specifically the 3 inchers. Good, bad or otherwise. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif

They ride like a rock from what I have heard. About the same as a Rough Country. I have ridden in the Rough Country lift and it is named accurately.

You could be right there Pat. But my Superlift don't ride bad at all.

Landon, I'm a firm believer in you get what you pay for. I paid more for my OME, but it works great, as you saw on Saturday, and they do have a 4" lift version avaiable. The RE lifts are excellent too.

Can't help you with Black Diamond or the others, but I can tell you about the one I have. I'm a Teraflex fan. The lift was on the Jeep when I bought it. I probably wouldn't have chosen it, but now I would chose Teraflex again. It's a 3" kit, but I got 4" out it. The springs are amazing. They offer a smooth ride and a tremendous amount of flex offroad. My kit didn't have control arms, but Teraflex offers them now.

Landon, I'll have my RE lift here in a few days, so I should be able to tell you something about it soon, if you aren't in too big of a rush to order your lift.
Landon: I looked into the Black Diamond lifts when I was looking for a lift. After talking to numerous Jeepers, I decided to spend my $$ on a lift that was a proven winner. Black Diamond maybe a Great lift, but I heard so many things pro and con, I just didn't want to risk my $$ on something that I wasn't sure that I would like. I went with the R.E. 3.5 Super Flex lift because it was a proven winner and included all the stuff like lower control arms, 2nd Gen disconnects, springs, and TC lowering kit. I am not telling you that the R.E. lifts are the best thing ever made. What I am saying is that I am very happy with my lift and I would purchase it again.

Ok, thanks for all the comments folks. I will probably NOT get a Black Diamond lift, not that I was planning on it anyway. I hadn't heard much about them at all, so that is why I was asking...:)
