I have a 04 TJ Sport and the other day my center console subwoofer started buzzing. I don't think its blown because the buzz does not change with volume or bass levels. It is always a steady buzz. It doesn't always buzz as soon as I turn on the stereo so I suspect its a loose wire. If anybody thinks it could be something else let me know. Anyways, I'm just trying take out the console to have a look. I removed the screw under the front cup holders but there are two more under the rear cup holders. They are not accessable from above and the bolts under the jeep have what looks like a round nut on them. I can't turn it. I'm not sure if its stripped or what... Has anyone removed the center console before?

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Phil

It sounds like you just have some interferance(sp?) in your wiring, id check out the back of your deck b4 id look at the sub. Sometimes two certin wirings being too close to each other will cause that sort of problem. Just a thought.

I only have 30,000 km so around 18,500 miles. I think it should be covered too, I was just kinda wanting to get it working before the long weekend...
