Simple Green and/or 303 Cleaner and Protectant.
I've even taken my roll bar pads off and scrubbed them with a brush. That seems to work well too, but the Simple Green and/or 303 scrubbed in should do the trick.

Simple Green ROCKS. BUT use it in a well ventilated area. I've found, from using it in my boat, that it cleans surfaces and bronchial passages too. It makes me cough like crazy if I am not in a well ventilated spot.

Simple Green is the heat! We even use it to clean weapons in the Army when there are very heavy coats of carbon in them. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/tu.gif

It took us three tries but I Think My Rubi is almost clean after my Trip to the Palo Duro Jeep Jamboree.
Just in time too...
Friday I leave for an Open Event at the YO Ranch for the weekend! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/dance.gif
Time to get it dirty and start all over again. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/tu.gif

i belive ive decided i dont like the mud.
Good idea!! That dirty/muddy water getting through your seals and bearings can do nasty stuff later. Wish I had a dollar for everytime I've heard "my Jeep doesn't shift right" or "my clutch pedal is stuck down" or "I'm getting funny screeching noises", that stuff is bad news.
Oh, by the way, I'd clean your father's car everyday if he paid for my stuff. :D
