I managed to create a little problem for myself. When ever I changed out my speedo gear I pinched the o-ring and now it leaks. I thought I'd be smart and just silicone around it, but it doesn't work for long. I need to get another o-ring, but I'm not sure what the part is called the o-ring goes on. Anybody know?? I would imagine ... speed o meter is in there somewhere?

If you notice that your speedo assembly is leaking ATF (after a day or two), you probably tore the o-ring on the speedometer adapter. This is a very common occurrence. Be sure to generously lube the o-ring area with ATF when you are inserting it into the t-case to help ensure it does not tear again. You can obtain a new one from the dealership or from such places as ACE Hardware, an auto parts store, etc. Just find a place that has an o-ring selection. Here are the specs for it:
Outside Diameter = 1 7/8-inch or 44mm
Inside Diameter = 1-9/16-inch or 40mm
Wall Thickness = 3/32-inch or 2mm
This was taken from Stu Olson's site.

Thanks Paul, you were all over that one. I'll see if Advance Auto Parts can't help me out.

no prob. You could probably find it at a dealer, but the auto shop would probably have it cheaper. With those dimensions, you should be all set. I'll see if I can find a PN for ya just in case.
