The wrangler as we know it will be dead in 09 ???

Boy must me the summer for jeep rumors , here is another one .While trying to get simple production #s for the 05 jeep unlimited line .A person working for JEEP told me after the 09 model year there will be no more wrangler due to the higher rollover standards .Thats why the boxier lines are comming out .So if this is correct ... The jeep line gets a redesign in 07 , and 2 years later they drop the whole wrangler or tj-lj line WOW .

It was actually a person working on the phone bank when you call to the 800# for jeep .I ask the dealership questions and i know more than those people .

I'll do some investigating, but rest assured, DCX isn't gonna redesign a vehicle for just 2 years.

I just thought of something...

The Wrangler is getting wider BECAUSE of the new safety standards. Duh! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/tongue.gif So... that "Jeep" person's gotta be full of hot air, and doesn't know what he/she is talking about.

That, I knew back in 2002, lol.
