Hay need a new transmission or rebuild for my jeep I think its a AX-15. I want to up grade a step higher then what I have now. Does anybody no someone or were to go to get one with out getting ripped off thanks

If the tranny is for the '02 in your signature - then it's a NV3550 ... which is a stout manual transmission, used in several half-ton full size trucks. A step up would be a NV4500, which was used in 3/4 and 1 ton trucks, but idk if it will mate with the 231 transfer case.

EDIT: Just noticed that your sig doesn't specify which motor the '02 has .... IIRC, 4cyl had AX-5 and 6cyl had NV3550.
