Here is the deal, I needed to make a 21 miles drive across town, I had trailer hooked to the Grand and I needed to charge the Break A-way system so I figured I would multi task and recharge the Break A-way system as I drove across town. The drive across town was uneventful. However, when I was ready to make the drive home, I stepped on the brake pedal to pull into drive and the pedal went to the floor   The only brakes I had were the electric trailer brakes and the assistance of the parking brake.... this made for a L_O_N_G 21 mile drive home. Brake idiot light never came on.... during the entire drive home. Once I got home, I did a little investigating and discovered that the rubber hose going to my left front wheel caliper was leaking brake fluid big time.. Charles is on his way to AutoZone to pick up a new hose and some brake fluid as I type this.

You might as well replace both of them. They probably have the same amount of twist and turns. :)

Here is the repair on pics...... I could only replace the driver's side as this was the only line they had in stock.

Driving in front of one of my vehicles is probably not a good idea either :)

I agree with you 100% Jason...... Unfortunately, AutoZone on had the driver's side line. I'll have to order or whatever the passenger side. The only reason I was able to limp home was because the trailer was empty. If there had been a Jeep on the trailer, I would not have been able to stop.

I doubt anything off a Sammy would fit the Grand..... it seems like 90% of the parts on the Grand are some odd ball part that no one has in stock.

Glad ya made it home without killing yourself or someone else!

Probably would have been a good idea, if I had thought about it.
