Hello old friends. I haven't been on much for the last 2 or 3 years.
The short version....amicable divorce that turned into a lengthy bloody custody battle once I married someone else. Lots of heartache but despite it all, life is much better.
Now on to the important stuff...the Heep.
Finding myself with more cars than parking spaces, I gave, painfully so, my Jeep to my stepson when he completed basic training at Ft Benning. He had always wanted to drive it and I wouldn't let him. Well, he just got home for two weeks from his first deployment to Afghanistan. He certainly earned his money and saw much combat. He wanted to buy his own truck and decided to return the Jeep to me. I'm elated.
So, the jeep is in the shop getting some work done and I'm very happy to be going into spring with the tub back under me again. I plan to spend many weekends deep in the woods camping and fishing with my three young children this year.
So, that's what has been going on with me and my Jeep.
