KY Outback Adventure Park Is Closed For Good
(http://www.kyorvpark.com/gallery5.htm)
Well folks that's it; the park is finished. The owners are not going to make any further attempts to re-open. They have decided that it is time to turn the page and move forward with their lives and close the park for good. They have had a couple of new issues and it is very apparent that the neighbors and local county management will not support the offroad park. The park owners do not feel that it is worth the constant headaches and battles to pursue the issue any longer.
The owners of the land where KY Outback was located have been patiently waiting for the many issues to be resolved, and now that the park is closed for good, they have decided to sell the land. If you or someone you know is interested in buying the property (it is a real nice place for recreation purposes like riding horses, ATVs, Jeeps, etc., camping, and hunting), please contact the following realtor :

We want to thank everyone for their words of encouragement, offers of help, and support of the offroad park during the past two years. It was fun while it lasted, and we have greatly appreciated everyone's support in the offroad community. The owners will keep this web site going in the future and turn it into an information site about offroad parks, public offroad riding areas, and public land issues that could affect the ORV community. Look for the web site changes to go into affect sometime during the next 3 to 4 weeks.
Sincerely,
KY Outback Management

We will reopen on July 16th and be open on Saturdays and Sundays from that point on unless otherwise noted. New Trails Are Developing Nicely

With use every weekend the new trails are developing very nicely. We checked them out this weekend in our new rock buggy and found a good 10 miles of trail that no one has been on yet! These babies need to be ridden. The trails that we are seeing action are getting broken in and starting to develop some very nice obstacles. We now have "Son of Staircase" within 200 yards of the staircase! This obstacle could actually end up being nastier than its big brother after more use. A couple of other new trails are developing into some nice uphill runs and they should improve dramatically after we get some rain.

New Pics & Deceiving Has Been Climbed!
The latest challenge, "Deceiving" was climbed by two ford trucks! This obstacle has proven itself a tough challenge with its combination of pitch, rock ledges, rocks, holes and soil. Check out the new action shots we've posted on our web site.

We have also posted new action shots of Table Top Rock Trail which is another obstacle still unbeaten along with some pictures of our Magazine Ride in March. You can check them all out by going to our gallery page and jumping to appropriate pages from there.
