Alright gang. After a GREAT turnout last month, we are moving along to plans for meeting #2. Nathan has secured a room at Heartland for our next meeting. We will have a full kitchen. We'll be having a potluck this month. The date is Feb. 25th. This is based on a high percentage of people suggesting to have the meetings on Friday instead of Saturday and others that just said "weekend" is best. I'll be getting a phone/ e-mail list together and sending it out to everyone so we can make contact with each other. This is also going to be bring a friend night!!! Everyone try to get this thing rolling and bring someone that's interested in joining the club!

Brandon, Lorena doesn't get off on Fridays till 5pm. So have fun, we might come down soon to see the new peep Raylee, so maybe we'll come down, but the soonest we can arrive would be 7:30 to 8:00. -Jon

alright Jon. it seems saturday may be a better day even though several suggested fridays. i was worried about people being able to make it to a meeting after work on fridays. if you want to come down, im sure we can provide some friday lodging and we will still be around at 730 or 8 since we arent starting till 630. depending on the weather, a trail ride may be in order for 2/26.

Well.. We can move the meeting to Saturday again if it's going to cause an issue with a lot of people. Ashley brought up it will be difficult for ppl to cook things to bring to a potluck that's going to be at 6:30 if they don't get off until 5:00 on Friday anyway. I'll just send a new e-mail out if I get some agreement here and on FB group.

That sounds great. I'm not sure if I've had pesto but I'll give it a shot!

This is also a reminder that the meeting is tomorrow night. If you are planning on attending, please make sure that you have notified me and your name is on the list above or on the FB group list. I haven't heard for sure, but I think we will be joined by our youngest member tomorrow night as well. If you aren't on the list, please let me know by midnight tonight so that we can arrange to pick up some more food for the meeting.

Had a great time tonight at the meeting! Just a reminder to everyone that we are still in the process of creating an "official" name for the club so... any suggestions or ideas are welcome. Once we land a club name we can get a logo together that can make its way to shirts, stickers, etc. Our goal is, hopefully by next meeting, we can have a few ideas together for for a name and vote. Also, we would like to work on a mission statement for the club that describes, not only our love for Christ, but also our love for offroading. I think God has blessed us with a great group of men and women and together I know that we will make a difference for his Kingdom(and have fun on the trail!) Thanks again to Shane for cooking the amazing BBQ and everyone else who brought in food. I am excited for the future of our club!

AMEN TO THAT BROTHER D-ROCK!!! Hopefully we'll be blessed with the presence of Miss Raylee and Mrs. Crystal @ our next event as well. I'll get an e-mail out soon, but something that came out of tonight's meeting was the desire for a somewhat detailed list of participants in the group with photos, names, rigs, and location so we can all put a name to a face!

I am excited about the success of our first two meetings and greatly look forward to having a club name and a website with a message board. Thanks to Shane at Drapers BBQ LINK (www.drapersbbq.com) we now have a club balance that will help get things up and rolling.

Thanks again for everyone coming out and all of those who didn't attend, we missed you and hope you can make the next one. We would like to entertain the idea of meeting around the weekend of the 12th of March for breakfast and a ride of some sort (or possibly camp @ LBL on the 11th and ride the 12th) and still have our regular monthly meeting toward the end of the month. All that is still up in the air and we'll have more concrete plans soon. If you have an idea, throw it out here or on the FB page.

The next meeting is getting close. For those on here that don't already know, we are meeting this Saturday at Heartland Worship Center at Paducah at exit 7 at 6 PM. It's open to anyone that enjoys the outdoors and off roading and doesn't mind driving to Paducah. This time it's bring your own supper and soda or a pizza order will be placed at 6:15 if you want to go that route(still need to provide your own beverage, no alcohol please). We promise to be more structured and actually discuss some topics concerning the group. :D Hope to see you there.
