cb install in Dash TJ

i have recently removed the sound bar from the jeep and very rarely ever use the cd player...

i was wondering if anyone has installed a CB in the same location as the CD player usually sits..

if so..what did you do to be able to hear your cb?
i was thinking somehow wire the cb into the dash speakers that are in the jeep??

CB's have a plug in the back for a speaker. just splice a plug into the stereo speaker wires and plug it in.

They sell little external speakers that plug into the rear of the CB. I have one mounted to my dash, it makes a big difference.

You just have to find the positive and negative sides of the speaker leads. Just tie both positives and both negatives together and put them in a 3.5mm plug. Plug into the CB.

As for making it fit in the slot? I would probally get a CB player dash kit and then modify it to fit in there, it can be done, just be creative and take your time.
