Welcome to IAJ. Just make sure you dont have any pork in that Jeep if you happen to drive it up to the Pali look out!!!!!!
Hey Clint, Welcome to IAJ. Your current location seems to be a perfect place to be a Jeep owner. Congratulations and welcome to the Jeep family. Don't forget to wave :) I live in Louisville, KY, we always have thought of the Ohio River as a mote, intended to keep Hossiers on their side (LOL)..... just joking. Again, Welcome to the Jeep family & to IAJ.

Welcome to the forum, and O yeah jeeps are addicting. I have been trying to build my 97 4 cyl for about 6 years now, little by lil. I currently run just a 2 inch spacer lift with 31in BFG muds, Plenty lights facing in every direction, and plenty of mods under the hood. Cold air intake, coil, wires, bigger Throttle body, Throttle body spacer, catback etc, etc. Anyway finally got the power plant to put out some decent HP for a 4 banger. She is light, and fast. I still saving for a real lift kit. I plan just to go with a 2 1/2 lift and maybe just bump up to 32in tires as I do not want to loose all my power at least until I can afford gear changes. O yeah I do have a steering box skid plate, but need skids for gas tank and diffs. I just moved back to california 3 years ago and believe it or not have not been offroad yet. My jeep right now is a daily driver as we sold our other 2 trucks, due to finances. Still I enjoy driving my daily cruzer for now. Lookng forward to getting the wife another ride so I can go do some mild wheeling. Sorry I taking to much right now. Welcome to the forum. Like me you will learn your way around little by little. Happy 4 Wheeling and have a great Christmas
