i'll be there saturday if i can get my jeep fixed in time. i broke the rear extention housing case on my transfer case and need to get a new one. i'm going to go to a junk yard tommarow to see if i can get one, if not, i'll order on online. i was trying to replace the seal and i didn't have a seal puller and i was banging away at it and of course, i broke it!! i know this would be a perfect chance for an instalation of a SYE, but i can't afford the $500 for the kit and the cv drive shaft. if anyone knows of a shop near by, please let me know. also, in members galleries, i'll post a picture of my broken piece. also i ordered 2" lift shackles yesterday. they should be here soon too!!

Well I attempted to install a rear locker. First the bolt that holds the cross shaft was broke then I broke the locker instlling the **** thing. Its gonna cost me 40 or so to replace the brocken piece plus the 30 for the springs (after shipping) and what ever to have the bolt extracked from the carrier. Its really starting to suck.

Well I cant get the bolt out and the local 4x4 shop told me 300 to replace the carrier and set up the gears on the new one. Looks like my buddies jeep may be getting my axle and I his.

That is a Near new 35 Micah, go for it. almost $100 in parts now!!!! Tell you what I'll take that locker off your handes for $100!.....LOL

well, i got the part i needed from the jeep dealership and it should be here today, so i should be going out on saturday. we should be out there around 9am. also, me and my wife are going to look to trade in her truck, 02' sliverado HD, in on a used jeep. probably a hardtop with a/c. so if anyone around hopkinsville or clarksville know of one, please let me know. we wanted to pay around $16,000-$18,000.

ok count me in for sunday the 19th. I should be bringing my wheel'en buddy chad this time. (riding shotgun) Can't wait to wheel with you guys. I still have a few things to work out with my new lift, mainly testing the flex a few more times and figure out why and what i can do to make my 31's tires stop rubbing my fenders. Its wierd but i lifted it close to 5 inches and i still rub 31's ...thats good flex i supose.

just got done fixing my jeep. it was a quick easy fix. i'll be there saturday all day this time. i signed back in from leave today so hopefully they don't have anything planned for saturday. i should be there though.

oh yeah, we went and looked at jeeps today. didn't really see anything we really liked. my wife want's an xj with a little lift. those things are hard to find here. i know back home in california they're a little easier to find. nothing here though. we found a nice 04' tj with 35k and a hard top for $18,000. wife didn't like it though. we'll probably just stick with our truck. i know there's a guy here on the web site selling his tj for $16,000 or somthing like that and its got a lot of lift, but i have to trade my truck in and i don't think i could do that with him. well, see you guys on saturday

To anyone in the clarksville area who wants to convoy,

I say we meet at the BP right off of exit 1 around 7:45 Sat morning. Then we head up the interstate to exit 86 to get gas. Then we move to TB and all meet up around 9:00-9:30 just like normal.

David, Micah & Danny....if we all want to convoy, exit 86 would be the best meeting place. Also, gas is cheaper there than in Cadiz or at exit 1. Is there anyone else out there from Clarksville going? Brendan, where are you?????

Danny for the shackles it is pretty straight foward, just spray with penatrating oil, and have a jack that can lift the jeep, like a floor jack, and a prybar in case the shackles don't wanna cooperate right away. Good Luck

I would like to come up on Sunday but if there is not going to be many people on the trail then I might look someplace local to get out for a while. It is father's day so I expect that is what is keeping most people from coming out.

i'll be there at the pilot at around 7:45am if you need to you can call me on my cell 580.284.3525 i just barely got done with my shackles. the two front ones went on in about 15 min, the back was another story though!! took about three hours becuase i had to drop the gas tank and push it around to get the bolts in and out. it's cool now though!! decent lift and better ride. the shackles look a little goofy, but oh well. i'm not taking them off now! i'll post some pictures tommarow when its day time. see everyone tommarow at tb!
