Yesterday I had Warn diff and steering box skids installed along with the discos that my kids sent me for Mothers Day.
I also ordered a Warn gas tank skid and a Skid Row engine skid..YEEHAW !! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/dance.gif
No pics as my local 4X4 shop did all the work..

nice... now you're more prepared for the stuff in your area! You'll be a lot happier knowing that the steering and gas tank are protected. Very comforting for me now that I have my tank covered.

I'm considering some type of diff guards, but it isn't high on my list right now since I don't hit them too often and at TB and around here, it is usually the tank getting pounded.

While I thought my list was done, I still want to: install a BL and/or MML if I go with 32's, Adj trackbar front, winch, additional armor underneath (engine, diffs).

I was happy with the JKS discos I had originally bought for my stock Jeep. They extended out just fine with enough to spare for my lift to keep my sway bar at the right angle. I just need to relocate the mounting pins for when they are disco'd. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif

You'll love having the discos for wheeling!

Never done with mods is right!

I have the JKS quicker discos. Now that I can disconnect the front I can go over/through things I couldn't before.

I ahve the full assortmant of skids.....Kilby steering, Skid row radiator, skid row oilpan, kilby styled gas tank, poisen spyder front diff, and tubular rear diff. All I need now is a pair of LCA mount skids.
Believe me it makes a HUGE difference in how you wheel knowing you have something between you and the ground or rocks. It adds a HUGE peice of mind knowing it's there. and you can hit some obstacles you may have shyed away from before!

I know from experience..Last trip to Tellico I took some pretty hard hits and knew that before I went back it was time to put the armor on.. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smirk.gif

Was same for me. I dented my oilpan in TB and hit my gas tank a few times, dented my stock "plate" all up. Thats no more!

My wife is tired of me buying stuff for the Jeep, so I doubt she'll buy me anything. Maybe I should just ask for $$. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif hehehe

Well, grrrrr....Actually if I AM going to receive a gift, I would rather get it for no reason..Years ago I told my kids to stop buying me things...Of course they don't listen but now that they are buying things for my Jeep, I kinda' like it.. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Mine goes both ways, I tell her what I want she tells me what she wants we are both happy. The other solution is she shops for herself, I shop for myself, we exchange gifts....all good
