I'm just wondering if anyone is interested in starting a loose band of people (Club, with no dues of course) who can get together every so often to chat over food and beverage, ride a trail, or help each other with mods and repairs?

I'm located in Marion, IL and have a few friends that are willing to participate. Also got a few Cruiser Head friends too, so I'm interested in any thoughts about keeping it Jeeps or open to all 4x4's.

Send me a PM, email, or give me a call: 618-771-6836

Thanks,

Jason Rose

Hey, due to unforeseen circumstances at work, I'll be making it tomorrow. You will have to let me know where, and some directions and I'll be there.

Not exactly sure where Eagle Mountain is, but look forward to finding out.

Alright, I heard some where that "If you will build it, they will come." I'm starting my own club, I figure that I'm no worse off in a club by myself, than not in a club, by myself. If you want in let me know.

I think I'll call it SoIL 4x4! I'll take suggestions, but you'll have to join up! lol

Work is an issue for me too. I had a lot of support when I was working on TLC's, just thought it would be nice to have some group therapy with this new Jeep addiction. And I don't want to have to pay dues right now. So, welcome to SoIL4x4 club.

Hey Moose, we're heading over to SMORR on the 23-26 of Sept for a Land Cruiser Rally. I'll be taking my JK along with the wife's FJ Cruiser. If you want to go let me know, I think I can still get you a meal ticket for the last night. Its an open TLCA event, which means that all vehicles are welcome. If you want to come, I can introduce you to some wheeler in your area, but they do drive Land cruisers. If you want to go, give me a call 618-771-6836. It looks like SMORR is about 4.5 hrs away into Seymor, MO

So far Moose was the only one interested, so nothing actually happened with the club

i might know another guy that might be interested, a club doesn't necessarily have to be big. Just need to organize and ride together.

So it does not sound like the club has gotten off the ground yet! You emailed last week about the club in Paducah? Did you wind up going down there? I thought about starting one my self up here in Pinckneyville and area a couple of years ago and talked to a couple of people and they seemed interested untill they had to help out to get one started! And then I started checking it out what it takes to become an organization!! WOW that is alot of work. I looked at the club in Columbia IL but then again thats nice drive too. That is why I don't think I would be interested in the club in Paducah! I just would like to have others to go on trail rides together (that is family oreinted). And maybe do some charity for the community! Let me know what has came about!
