NP 231 Rebuild Kit

Has anyone rebuilt a 231 tera low. I just bought the parts for the master rebuild, and was looking at the HD Chain. You know the wider chain. bought from JB Conversions... Any one know if that wider chain will be better or just a waist of money... Thanks!

Wider chains are less prone to stretching and getting slack in them. I ran a stock chain for years in a SYE'd 231 case with in problems and I beat on that jeep hard. I remember seeing something about someone using a Chevy chain inside the 231 case, would have to do some research on pirate though if you want to find it.
