Nice Jeep,jwrubi.
I've got 31/10.50 15 trxus(interco). This tire is unbelievable in the mud, rock and rain. Best tire I've ever had; you will love them. More sipes than any other mud tire.

How do the TrXus tires compare durability-wise to BFG's and such? How about noise? What about pricing for 31x10.5's?
very quiet on the road and also very smooth. A friend of mine(Jared) witch some of you know, bought a set 4 days after I bought mine he liked them so much. As far as durability, I am hard on them and have never had trouble yet(knock on wood)6 ply sides on the 31's.

What kind of mileage are they rated for? Pricing?

If I am not mistaken the Truxes have the strongest sidewalls of any MT.

Or Dave at www.northridge4x4.com (http://www.northridge4x4.com) or Mike at www.4x4rockshop.com (http://www.4x4rockshop.com) All three will give you competitive rates. Jason

Their site only shows fitting 15x8.5, not a 15x8. Would that be a problem for the Canyon wheels?

Not sure. I think you would have to call a distributer.

Paul..Just put my glasses on (heck to get old)and looked at the tiny print on my tire..
It says for my size tire (31x10.5) specified rim size is
15x7J-9J..if that is any help (I have no idea what the "J" means) /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/confused.gif /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/eyeroll.gif

mama, you lifted at all? I'm currently running 30's and I'm putting on an OME that is FINALLY in transit to me. Just curious as to how 2.5" lift with 31's would look. I'm trying to avoid doing a body lift if I can.
a 31/10.50/15 will fit no problem, you can even go 32/11.50/15 with spring spacers and wheel spacers with the 15/8 canyon wheel. Its been known to even fit a 33/12.50/15(JP magazine) with the right lift.

Here is a picture of my daughters Jeep with her 31" TrXus and 1.5 lift...She didn't want to go any higher as she is so short ..she is armored from front to back (and loves to play in the rocks) /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/hee.gif ( and SHE put rock rails on since the pic was taken)

Let me try again sending the pic being that it didn't go through last time..(I am surprised that anything is visible after what appeared on my screen) /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/confused.gif
No luck.....It still won't let me do it but it is in my photo gallery as "Mick's Jeep" if you are interested... j

Thanks for the info on the TrXus's... with BFG's on backorder, these may fit the bill. Are they pretty decent in mud (like I'd find at TB)?

Unfortunately I have never been to TB but when we did Windrock Jambo last month, trail 16 was mud, mud, and more mud and didn't have any problems..

They do way better then the GY MTRs in mud. Not sure compared to BFGs. All I have heard is raves about them in mud rain snow and rocks.

Well took the jeep out today. Tires did very well. Could have done better but I did not air down. Had the whole family so no room for the air tank. These tires are great. I do recommend them.

What type of terrain did you try them on? I'm assuming rocks since you are in Co.

Sweet you will like them. They are a PITA to balance but a good shop wont have problem. I also run the centramatic (www.centramatic.com) wheel balancers so I really dont have any problems with them balancing. Jason

What kind of twins are you talking about Fred? /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/brows.gif /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/brows.gif
I was thinking double mint twins, or Modle looking twins witha a littel mud on them from jeeping...you know the most common kind!
