Tax Rate for Tenn?

I am trying to figure costs related to ordering some things from 4wd and picking it up in TN or shipping to my house in KY.
Also is there any additional taxes added on other than the State tax?

if you buy in store there should only be state sales tax.

you have the base rate then the county gets a cut if it's davison county it's 9.75%

Base rate is 9.75%? Is Nashville Davidson County? If so, what is their cut? And I guess it is added to the state base of 9.75%?

What if you payed online and just picked it up at store?

I asked that a couple of weeks earlier and someone said you had to pay the state tax of the state you picked it up in.

As i understand it state tax is all you pay. county gets a cut of that. And you can not tax something shipped to another state.

9.75% should be max.

I think state is 7% and then local city tacks on another 1.5% - 2.75%.

I would still call and tell them that you talked to northridge and they are giving free shipping. most places will match it. I know PORC.com will. usually price match. (they price matched and beat the competitor by 10%)
