Looks really nice, Marlon! Now it is time for some real tires! ;)

Is it 1.5" or 2"?
2"/1.25"
I am NOT happy with the height gained in the rear, it is just NOT tall enough for me. Front is OK, got some work to do up there too. Rear end will be helped out pretty soon, in the next month or so possibly.
My big lift comes later, maybe later this year. :)

You lifted it more in front than in the back? That will mean that you are always going uphill, and it will cost you on gas mileage. :)
Looks good, Marlon.

Why thanks Tom and Fred and Paul, AKA the only three who care. :)
It's now officially ready for Badlands next month!

You know if Old Giller were still with us, he would have something to say about it. He thought a lot of you, Marlon.

Yes. He would have gotten jealous and immediately one-up'd me and lifted that Commander 4".... if he even still had it. :)
What a cool guy.
Taking it to Badlands? BadLands in Indiana? I think this is the first time in the time I have been on IAJ I have heard of you going to a park!!! Thats A+ Awsome.
You have to remember MArlon Paul, Tom and I are probably the only three on here who have been around as long as you

I'm going with the Midwest LOST group. Yeah I'm still hanging out with the KJ people. I've been offroad before, with all 3 of my Jeeps. Well this is gonna be the first time for this Jeep though.

Thanks guys!!!!! Really appreciated. Ever since the lift and tires I've been getting double takes. Amazing what 2" makes!!!!

NICE COLOR! The lift is very subtle though. Not much higher than stock. I know they don't make many lift's for those years. My wife had an 05 GC and there were only two lifts - (I just typed this exact thing on the other thread)
- a 2" BB or a 4" SL. Get some meatier tires and maybe it will look more "off-road-y".

geez, I get new tires and people still say I need more new tires. :p
The Jeep is my DD. Not sure if I want to have a DD with those types of tires.
Get a nice set of AT's like BFG's or Daytonas, they ride nice, wear nice, and do better than street tires off road

Marlon, I don't think you need new tires either. Those Duelers fill out the wheel wells and I've heard nothing but good about those tires.

If its the Dueler Revo's, my truck (02 chevy D'max) ate a set in 26k miles and they get louder as they wear.

Marlon don't care about gas mileage...... Marlon's Jeep don't use no gas :)
BTW Marlon, I care, just didn't see this thread until now :p :D

Dueler Revo 2!!!
I've asked a few people at work how their Dueler Revos wore.
This one guy said he got 50k out of his and looked like my Forteras with 40k.

Yep, same tire I had. A diesel truck is harder on tires than most other vehicles, I hope you have better luck than I had. I loved mine for the 1st 10k miles and it went down hill from there.

You didn't see the interior. :p
Carpet is muddy, there's crumbs lingering around, probably about $2 in change, school assignments, juice cans.... I'll stop now.
I'm cleaning that much out today.

Why do I have a feeling your D'max is a few pounds heavier than Marlon's WK. On a lighter vehicle they should wear longer.

Oh Darn. Got ready to clean everything out, started shampooing the carpet (It's black but OMG, I saw so much dirt/mud in ALL areas, front/back/cargo, I wanted to cry)
Got a bunch of crap out of the cargo area and filled up my tires to the proper PSI. It's A HALF INCH TALLER THAN IN THE PICS NOW!!!!! :p
Then it started to get dark. Oh well, there's always tomorrow morning! I guess that's what happens when you go 44259 miles without really cleaning out the interior that well. I'm not going to shampoo the rest of the carpet until after Badlands. But the driver front footwell needed some serious help now.
Oh and I found a waffle fry from Chick Fil A. I haven't been to Chick Fil A since November. It wasn't my fry either way, my cousin was sitting in the back seat. She must have dropped it.

I think it looks GREAT !!
Nice color
Classy looking but still has that "I can play" look
Marlon, you may want to checkout your transmission protection. I don't know anything about the newer Grands, but I know that some Libby's had transmission skids, and some didn't. Thoses auto transmissions are not cheap to repair or replace
