I am thinking of buying a D30 w/4.10's and an ARB for $400. Only thing is it is located in Elgin, IL. This is just outside of Chicago. Trying to figure out the best way to get this thing since the guy doesn't want to ship it. Though if maybe someone lives kinda close and could pick it up for me then when they head this way (TN/KY) I could meet up with them pick it up and give them a little something for their troubles. If not I will have to make the 9+ hour drive one way to get it. Reply quick on this. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif

Your timing stinks! If this had been a couple weeks ago, I probably could have had it delivered to TB. I need to make a trip to Chicago in mid July (I'll have to check the date.. it will be a Sunday). I wasn't going to pull trailer as MPG sucks when I do, but if this timing would work for you, I would take the trailer.

Thanks Don. Mid July sux tho. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/frown.gif I was thinking I might drive up tonight or tomorrow and get it. This guy doesn't want to ship it to me at all. I will probably have to spend about $70 in gas and could have it shipped for around $100 or so. I will decide later. Anyone else that might be able to help out please speak up. Thanks guys.

If you make that trip, you would be welcome to stop by Turkey Bay and ride shotgun with me tomorrow. I'm assuming you are not going to be in your Jeep and pulling a trailer, but if you are, then let's get some mud on that Jeep. I'm pretty sure your best route would take you within about 20 mi. of TB.

Tom,
I appreciate the offer. But I am not even sure I would get close to TB. I would take 75 to 74 to 465 to 65 to 90. DavidC lives like 10 miles from Elgin where this thing is located. I am trying to find out from him if there is anyway he could help out with this.

Thought you might be going I 40 to Nashville and then I-24 to I-57. That would have taken you within 20 mi. of TB. I haven't looked at the map, so my way might be out of your way.

Tis OK my friend. I have decided to NOT get that thing. I would have to sink some money in it to rebuild it anyway. Been sitting outside for near a year. if it was 2 hours away it my be worth it but not 10. If anyone else is interested just let me know and I will give you the post info on Pirate.
