I know that this grill guard isn't as fancy or tough as some of the bumpers that are on here but this is what I want. There are two versions; Olympic 4X4 and Rugged Ridge.

The RR version is cheaper than the Oly version and just as strong.
Now, here's the thing I'm wondering about...
Quadratec has it for $109 + $21 shipping.
4WD Hardware has it for $98 + $15 shipping.
ShopJeepParts.com has it for $79.95 + $14.95 shipping.
Now, here's my question; Has anyone ever bought anything from SJP.Com? Are they good or bad? Any help is appreciated....

No personal experience with them.
About the grille guard, you just bolting it on or welding it on?

didnt you used to have a stinger?

Yes, I did have a stinger...

But, due to a failing economy and joblessness, I was forced to sell it. Didn't really like it all that much anyway.
And the guard is a bolt on but I might have it welded on. I'm also going to cut my front bumper to look like this...

I would bolt it on then with it boted on tack the grill guard on, then remove and weld it. That way the bolt holes all line up and it is welded. If you ever decide to get a better bumper you just pull everything as a "kit" and sell your guard and bumper

Well, I have been in contact with both Quadratec and 4WD Hardware. Both say they will honor price, neither have in stock. Bummer! However...
I was thiiiiiiiiisssss close to ordering it when someone told me about this site called RedJeepClub.com. They have a bumper hoop that's the same price as the grill guard. Which do I get? Ugh!!!
I see we can't have an official poll anymore so...

No real purpose - just looks mainly. I'm keeping my factory bumper, I just want something to dress it up a bit. :)

Where is the bacon wrapped option?

Realistically, bacon won't help him decide between the two.

If you have this crap in your mouth.

Then you'd better wear one of these so no one knocks them out of yer face.

First off, thanks to all who voted. Looks like the hoop won by a landslide. However, I did not go with the hoop that I showed on here.
I called the guy who made my other bumpers and showed him the website. He said that he could make the same thing cheaper than what the NY people have. I told him not to worry about powdercoating it because I was just going to spray-line it anyway. Well, yesterday he calls me and tells me it's done and that he even sprayed it flat black for me. He made it just a bit different but it looks awesome. He even threw in a set off tow hooks free! I brought it home last night. $50!!!!!!!!!!!:D
Today I took off the whole bumper, cut some off the ends, drilled out new holes for my fog lights, then wiped it down with "Prep-All" before primering it. I sprayed the bumper, hooks and hoop with spray-liner and reassembled it. I have to wait til tonight to re-aim the lights. While I was at it, I sprayed the vent scoop and my bugshield. Here are some pics....
