Anyone who's interested in Rough Country's new long arm kits and upgrade kits, Performance Off Road Center (http://www.performanceoffroadcenter.com/oscommerce/index.php?cPath=30_165_252) has the best prices going right now on these kits. The sale could end anytime also, so I wouldn't hesitate if at all possible.

It was going to be a little over $50 to have the XJ long arm upgrade kit shipped to my house. I'm going to go pick it up from Rough Country in Dyersburg, Tn. It just an hour and half or so from here.

Be sure to check on what you are going to pay in gas and tax in Tenn. It may be cheaper to have it shipped.

I'll let you know Paul. The kit was purchased through P.O.R.C., therefore, I don't pay the 9.25% sales tax for TN. P.O.R.C. did not charge any sales tax at all. Also, I'm hoping to be able to have a friend I work with pick it up for me while he's working. He drives close by the plant every Thursday, or I'll convince my boss to send me that way so I can do it myself and get paid while I'm doing it. Lord knows I could fit it in the back of an empty 48' semi trailer.:D If not, the wife's van won't use that much gas to get down there and back.

Thanks to knobturner 75 for posting this up on here. I have been in the market for a long arm kit for months now, and this has got to be the best kit for the money that I have come across. Heck, I got the complete long arm suspension kit with shocks, springs, track bars, steel braided brake lines, and hardware for less than most other companies' long arm upgrade kits with just the control arms. It may not be the latest 4-link super-flexi-joint competition grade kit going, but for my needs, and the price I paid, I am pretty excited about it.

We'll see how things go when the UPS man drops off the goods and the install begins.

Also, for sale in the very near future...ProComp 5" TJ short arm lift kit, slightly used!

You're welcome TGR 96. I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but PORC's sale on Rough Country's kits has ended today. :( So sorry everyone.

compared to rusty's on just specs alone I would say this is a better kit, more complete and much cheaper...

I called PORC the day AFTER the Rough Country price increase, but the website had not been updated, so the guy gave me the sale price anyway. Excellent customer sevice. I was very impressed and will certainly look to PORC for my future parts needs. I would highly recommended PORC.

So now their website has the higher price listed, but from my research, I would still say that at just under $1400 for a complete long arm kit, with shocks, springs, track bars, brake lines, etc., this is still an excellent value for anyone wanting to upgrade to a long arm kit. Just my $.02 worth!

I called PORC a week after the sale ended. I talked them in to giving me the sale price and FREE shipping. I have had good luck with PORC as well. I have bought several things from them.
