[/ QUOTE ]This is Harlan County.. I have read several articles on it. The KY Mountain Crawlers will act as trail guide, if you desire. Visit http://www.kymc.org for more information. Also, this would be a haul from TB as Harlan County is in FAR EASTERN part of the State where W.V., TN., and KY all meet.

Hazard County has a lot of "History" as well, but I wouldn't brag about any of it (giggle...giggle).

i have a friend from harlen co. he told me about this several months ago but i just came across this thread tonight. I guess you guys have never heard the old song, "You'll never leave Harlen alive". Its about a coal miner from back in the day, true story. I heard that this past weekend there was a tour of the place set up for Earne Fletcher.

My alltime favorite song about Kentucky is "Daddy won't you take me back to Muhlenberg County"
