Anyone ever considered Rhino liner or Line X to your entire JEEP?? My paint is not the best and this seems like a great idea to help eliminate rust, trail damage and get a better paint job. I just haven't seen any Jeeps done completely, just tubs. I called to check prices and it was expensive, so now I'm considering the brush on stuff. Anyone used the brush on stuff? Does it leave brush strokes etc. Thanks!

just did my tub with hercules brush on from O'Rieleys auto parts $29.99. It went on really easy, no brush marks, you can apply it in different directions; does'nt matter. doing the outside would be kinda pricey. If I were you I would check out body wraps(auto wraps) on a google search(don't know the web site) they will pay you to advertise a business on your vehicle.up to $400mo. or you can buy a wrap. They do come in camo; that would be a good choice for a Jeep.good luck
p.s. Jeeps look better with f#*ked up paint.

I was going to Rhino Line, or Line x the new bumbers that I am having made, but was talked out of it as I was told that exterior Rhino or Line X gets dirty, stays dirty, and doesn't look right after a while. You may have the same results.

I've checked into the body wraps before. They are very selective and you have to drive a bunch of miles each day to even make the cut. I drive a grand total of 7 miles round trip each day. Needless to say, I wasn't being considered. Is the stuff you did the tub with the black Herculiner? What's the consistency like? rough or rubbery?

Yes, it was the black Herculiner. Its more tough than rubbery. I wish I did it sooner. No more Jeep smells after a rain. I see that your in White House. We need to hook up and ride. I live off of New Shakle Island Rd in Hendersonville. ****, I just walked in the house from WH. I grill out very often with a couple other Jeep buds, I'll invite ya next time. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/flag.gif

I am originally from Hendersonville, graduated high school there. My wife's parents still live there and have pool, so we spend lots of time there in the summer. We will definitley have to hook up to go wheeling. Mike Ward lives just a few miles from me in Springfield. He and I hook up from time to time to do Jeep mods etc.

Piece of advise on liner. Herculiner can be sprayed with a normal air compressor. I can do it for ya if ya wanna drive it down here. Or if you are feeling froggy do it yourself. Just go to Northern Tool or Harbor Freight and buy and undercoat spray gun. You should be able to spray the liner right out of the can but if it is a lil thick then get you some xylene and thin it just a little. Mix it about 80-20, liner to xylene and then go from there. You can spray the whole thing if you want.
