I just got off the phone with my internet provider, they are changing the IP addresses today, this means that it may take up to 24-48 hours for the changes to go into affect. What this means to you is THAT when you type in ITSAJEEP.ORG that you probally wont get it for at least 24 hours I will try to send out a email to everyone once the update is complete and you can access the site again.

Because different ISPs update their DNS whenever they feel like it. Gill's 24 hours was a pessimistic estimate. DNS is sort of like... a router. It tells where the site exists.

This is, of course, if the site hasn't already been down. Patrick cannot get on, so I'm assuming that's what's going on. Shortly after Gill wrote that post, I wasn't able to access the site.

Once everybody's DNS has been updated, everyone will be able to access the site again.

Its back online again /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif and Marlon is right some of the dns stuff was update in a few hours, others take longer.
