After an exhausting search for months, ok maybe weeks, I finally purchased a 1985 Honda Magna 750. Black and chrome, saddle bags, 2 helments, cover, and on a scale of 1- 10 I've got to rate it 9.3...I have never seen a 20 old motorcycle that is **** near perfect. No rusting on the chrome anywhere. It has been garage kept all its life and pampered. As I will continue to do the same. Will pick up Sat and post pics this weekend. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/hee.gif /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/hee.gif /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/hee.gif I know I will look as good on it as I do in my Jeep. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Geez, Brewah, even your motorcycle has a square headlight!
That's a good looking bike /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/tu.gif

A V-45!!! Haven't seen one of those in years. Those are great bikes. You can ride in comfort all day long, cruise the strip at night, and lay down some serious rubber if you want to. One of the last of the "do-all" bikes.
BTW: You just gotta love that square headlight!!! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/tu.gif

Jim....Found it down your way. Located it in Fancy Farm. Went got it yesterday and tried to ride a little today. Too cold! It really looks like it came off the showroom floor. It was well taken care of. The best part? Price..got it very reasonable.

Obviously I don't know the mileage, but I'm guessing around $1,500?

Dang you are good Jim...Actually 1600.00. Mileage is right at 17,000. And it is a sweet ride. Just couldn't justify paying an enormous amount for two letters. H.D. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif But this one is fine for a couple of years.

I just looked at the pics of it. You should have paid closer to $2k for it. That is one well kept bike!!! Looks like it has the Dunlop Qualifier tires on it too. You may want a newer bike, but you won't find a better one.

Very nice pics, but you need to change that headlamp.
Its square. And square headlight(s) are hideous. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif
Jim says it's a "do-all" bike so do ya plan to wheel it at TB? /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Actually I was looking at one time at a dual sport bike, but decided I would just wheel the Jeep and cruise with this bike. Jim it has new tires, saddle bags ( leather ), bike cover, and 2 helmets. Kept up with a few on Ebay and they were going much higher than I paid for this one.

I'm glad it has new tires. I didn't realize those were still being built. The last time I saw that tread pattern was on an '82 Yamaha 750 Maxim that I bought in college. I was gonna suggest new tires if those were showing any signs of dry rot at all. I would love to see that bike some time. I've always loved the Magna line of the 1980's, not the current one. Honda still uses that basic motor in the current Magna and Interceptor sport bike(that is if it is still in production).
CONGRATULATIONS /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/woot.gif /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/tu.gif /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/dance.gif

I like that one. I had an 84 or 85 Shadow 750. I think they were basically the same bike with different engines, and headlights. Looking really good though.
