This is not a make model thing so i shall post this here .I ALMOST TOTALED MY 05 rubicon unlimited today /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/shocked.gif and it was all due to ONE bolt .The steering bolt backed out on my jeep after 1,000 miles today .I was going 75-80 mph on the freeway , going straight and felft my steering wheel goin more n more left on me .I pulled off and parked , looked under and found the bolt just barely hanging there w/ no nut on its end .A nearby shop gave me a bolt and nut and bolted it up NO CHARGE and i was on my way to the dealer , where they replaced said bolt n nut and found 3 more loose ones .So they tightened up the whole front and swaped out a bend cotter pin .All this and i have not even been able to go wheelin yet .Could have been alot worse if the bolt would have come out completly , and i would have lost all steering at freeway speed .SO PLEASE CHECK YOUR NUTS PEOPLE AND BOLTS .spend a day w/ a wrench and some tunes and tighten them babies down /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wave.gif.Thats my public service anouncemnet for today .
