I have got an issue that I need to figure out. Lets see if I can explain it the best way I can. Its a 1988 4.0L automatic.
From dead stop, flooring it, it shifts gears waaay too soon, shifting into overdrive by 40-45 mph. You can let off and floor it again and it will not shift out of OD. If you come to a stop, and start back off, it does the same thing. You can manually shift through the gears and its fine. Someone told me rear wheel speed sensor. I kinda thought maybe a vacuum line. Its not slipping in any of the gears, and its not shifting hard. Seens like its going to be something simple.
Any suggestions? /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/confused.gif
