I already have over 500 miles on my new jeep and lovin it !
Prior to this jeep i had a classic jeepster commando "71" .There is something about old cars i just gotta have them , and i have 4 old rides now besides our new jeep .Funny how my "hotrod" buddies just don't get the whole jeep thing .To me it screams FREEEEEEEDOM /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/flag.gif, done in my best mel gibson braveheart impression..
I seriously doubt if i will be doin extream rock crawlin and risk totaling my new ride but i can say we will be havin a blast w/ it /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/woot.gif.
Well i will make this the end , and any question 's just shout .Btw my name is SCOTT but most call me scooter , just don't call me late for dinner .

Yes they are nice jeeps , loads of creature comforts too .I added a 3.5" lift and 33's , and am very happy w/ the ride .Even the MPG at 15.5 for the first 2 tanks is bearable .I am now glad i got the dual tops' and the hard top is extreamly silent , atleast until i blast the stereo /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/woot.gif.For this being my first "NEW" vehicle in over 22 years , well i can not wipe this silly grin off my mug /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/hee.gif

Welcome to itsajeep! There are a LOT of excellent offroad fab places down there in the Phoenix area. Toys by Troy pops to mind (since I toured their place before I got my rockers), but I remember when I visited there last spring I passed several places. You are in a great location.

Stu Olson has an excellent site for writeups on doing mods to your jeep, if you are so inclined. He is in Phoenix as well.

Enjoy your Jeep, regardless of how you use it. There is nothing like it!
