Has anyone had experience with Titan Engines in Ocala, FL? They seem to have a decent price on 4.0"s.

So it was more than the positioning sensor? Ouch!

Sorry for the short hijack! But in answer to your above question, No, I haven't. The only thing to watch is truck freight these days.

Yeah, I've got a friend who has a truck that runs to FL every week. If I ask nicely he might have his driver pick it up for me.

I'm looking at my options: chevy V-8's w/4l60e's but dang to adapt the 4l60 to a 231 is $550 plus shipping. I can sell my 231 w/ 4:1 and SYE add that to the adapter price and just about buy an Atlas. But my driving style....I'll be selling the D44's and buying 60's.

4.6 stroker, but will the AW4 handle the power?

Stock 4.0, but is that what I really want? No, I need my power (insert Tim Taylor Toolman grunt)

It just never ends does it.

What happened Jason? Why not 5.2 or.5.9 magnum with mpi. Andy has some experiance with this. :) Then TF999 with a d300 or atlas. SWEEEEET!:D

No doubt, All I did was yank a good junk yard engine and do a basic rebuild(rings and bearings). You've seen how it runs jason!!! We could sling one in there easily.

Yeah, you guys know how I drive. It wouldn't be long and my D44 would be broke and I'd be installing 14b and a 60 front 40" tires....then I would sell it because I didn't like driving it every day anymore. I think I'm just going to do a simple rebuild with a couple mods to make it run a little better.
