Article in our local paper (Murphy, NC) last week did not sound good..Some of the propositions are absurd..
I myself think the days of Tellico being open at all for wheelin' is about to end..Hope that I am wrong !! (It was my favorite place to wheel) :)

I've been there twice and Loved it. I went when all the trails were open. Its a shame people are trying to close it down.

Used to go twice a year. We have not been the last three years though.
Sad to see it go, was afraid it was going to happen though after the temp closure.

It's not too late to do something about , yall would be suprised how much impact taking five minutes to write a letter has. The Forest service has to read & respond to each letter they recieve.
