finally got power

well just about 30 min ago,i finally got power after the ice storm.Last monday night about midnight the power went out.Just now they got the area going,Man it will fill good to be in my bed tonight.No power,no water,no COMPUTER, and no cell phones half the time for a week,its been aweful.My dad said in his 52 yrs of grocery business,this is the first time in 52 yrs of 7 days a week hes ever had to close.Thanks to the hundreds of volunteers from all over that got us back up.They estimate the damage around 45 million they say.Just the area in the counties around me they say there around 4000 poles that have to be put up.You never know what you miss till you dont have it......................

Glad to hear your power is back on. A coworker of mine lives in Princeton and just got running water back yesterday (I think). Luckily the weather warmed up a little bit after the storm.

yeah,its been bad,but could always been worse.Just thankful for all the national guard people and the thousands of out of state workers that have came in to help out/.
