Okay, I'm not sure what is up. My Jeep has developed a weird side to side sway in the rear end going around corners and such. It's kinda that same feeling when your rear tires come off a rock unevenly.
I've got a 4 inch lift (tera springs), 35's and just the trash lock in the rear.
Any ideas?

Your Jeep is obviously a girl Jeep. That side to side swaying in the rear end is just cause she is being sexy. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif
Seriously, one low tire back there or both tires low could cause that. Trac bar loose? Not sure if that would cause it, but it would seem reasonable to me that it could. Check your springs and shocks also. Other than those things, I have not a clue.

Suzjeep my jeep has the same problem, it started after i flipped it. When i rotated, ballenced and alined my tires it helped a little but the rear end still seems to come away during a turn like you described. I am just living with it right now hope it isn't going to be dangerous.

It is one freaky feeling. Cait (my daughter) says its real bad in the back seat. I'll just get my bro to let me borrow his garage and tools and I'll tighten the crap out of everything. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif

I would have to agree with Tom on this myself. Just check all the boltsin the back and your tire pressure.
You might also want to check the lug nuts to make sure they aren't loose ???
Suzzie,
Burn it and buy a YJ /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wave.gif

I've got to say, for a DD the coil spings of a TJ are much MUCH nicer than the leafs of my YJ....ouch!

i had a similar problem on my 97 tj the last time i went to miami but on the way back the driver side bolt on the front of the trac bar came out i hit a hard bump and the rear axle twisted went in to both fenders throwed the jet ski off the trailer was a heck of a ride thought i had a blow out till i got it stoped
check those bolts i dont know how long mine had been out before it came off but i had noticed it getting squirely for a few hundred miles before the trouble
