IL gov arrested for basically a pay to play deal trying to 'sell' Obama's vacated seat in the Senate. Wonder if this will stop in Springfield, IL, Chicago, IL, or Washington, DC?

I know there are many that don't like the Chicago political machine, so I have to wonder if this will all tie in to Chicago and perhaps even into Obama's presidency.

Man, the roller coaster is starting and we're still being dragged up the first hill by the chain...

People in IL and Chicago should be embarrassed and ashamed.

People in IL and Chicago should be embarrassed and ashamed.

They are! They are walking into Lake Michigan en masse, like lemmings. :)

Two consecutive governors of Illinois were crooks. Well, two got CAUGHT, at least.

The people that didn't pay attention to all this kind of Illinois political issues and dismissed it as rhetoric during the campaign should be embarrassed.

And for more reason they should be ashamed. They need to know who they are electing. Something is wrong in that state.

They are now talking about a special election for the vacant seat. That could produce a republican gov. Might even help with the gun issues?

I thought about what I said today. Obviously I was talking about the senate seat and not the Gov.
