If Got An 87 Jeep Wrangler With Dana 60 Front And 14 Bolt Rear With Drum Brakes. The Brake Pedal Goes To The Floor. I Have A Stock Master Cylinder. I've Blead The Brakes A Couple Of Times With No Change. Do I Need A Different Master Cylinder Or Does The Proportioing Valve Have Anyting To Do With It? Any Suggestions?

I would change the Master cyl. It sounds like it is not building pressure. When you get the new one before you put it in make sure you Bench Bleed it. If you need a discription just ask.

Just what I was going to say, but now would be a good time to upgrade to rear disk brakes and install a master cylinder from a grand cherokee.

Check the vacuum to the brake booster from the pvc valve on the valve cover and make sure your getting fluid to all wheels I had a simular problem several years ago that was a bad brake Booster brake problems can be VERY aggravating good luck

Here are three of the YJ master cylinder swap posts that I have earmarked from over at Pirate. Good info, takes a little to sort through some of the BS, but good none the less. Should get you a general direction of where to go.

The Grand Cherocar disk swap not gonna work for a 14 bolt...good for the 35s and 44s though. There are disk swap kits that can be had reasonable for the 14 bolt...a very worth while upgrade over those monster drums. The kits range from welding required to bolt on and then complete kits or gather your own stuff...just a matter of what you want to do there. Most use late 70's Chevy front rotors and calipers...some use the piss poor Eldorado calipers to retain the ebrake, but most say that those calipers are crap.
Might think about going to an aftermarket proportioning valve too...really helps with getting the thing dialed in...

Depending on what you want to spend there is a guy on ebay that sells disc conversions fairly reasonable. They use 75 chevy 1/2 rotors and calipers. This combined with a 94 astro van m/c as a hydroboost set up will sove ALL problems! Just make sure that you have your seatbelt on the first time you use them!

The Astro van mc you will have to get from your local junk yard. I know the 94 Astro works but there are also some from the caprices that will work as well. You will also need some high pressure lines to complete the loop. Like I said earlier though well worth it in the long run.
