OK, so I have decided to go ahead and get the AtoZ Fabrication Rock Sliders, but I cannot decide on which I like better, the "Yaffy" style or the "Basic" style.
Here are some pictures:
Yaffy style:

and Regular:

regular with the countersunk bolt option: http://atozfabrication.com/images/MICHELLES_ROCKERS-COUNTERSUNK1.jpg
here is another that I dont like as much, it is called the Snowpeep (the step doesnt have an extention, it just is welded right to the rocker guard):

SO whatta think?

Regular/countersunk
But, Sun Performance is better lookin' than any of the above. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif

The one thing that will drive ya nuts is all the options that are out there for anything Jeep.
Go with what you like... and then in a couple of years there will be something else that you will probably like better...
That always happens to me.
David
Its your choice Bubba. These do attach to the frame, dont they?

I agree with Tom /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/hee.gif /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/hee.gif /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/hee.gif
IF I had to choose something other than Sun Performance,,,, I would vote for the Yaffy style.... they look real stout.. plus they may not get in your way on enter / exit from a lifted Jeep.

I like the countersunk/regular, but they look like the Toys by Troy ones I have... w/o the countersink.
The rounded tubes may come off rocks and trees and such a bit easier than a flattened step. With either though, they serve to protect the side from obstacles or rubbing against things like the side of a gulch or a tree or a rock or...
Just my opinion.

I believe I like the square tube ones better.

grrrrrrrrrrr, you guys are as bad as my Step-dad and my Mom. My step-dad likes the Yaffy, and my mom likes the regular. I can se where the regulars could help slide over obstacles and actually look a bit stronger, but the Yaffy's look is awesome; the are beefy and give the Jeep a cool apperance.
Also, I plan on using bed liner on the rock sliders too.
I like them too, I think when the $$ rolls in I will go for the regular, with counter sunk bolts.
